Artouste is the venue for the mountain bike World Cup Cross Country and the Witch's Trails include sections from both the World Cup trail and the World Championship trails. There are 3 marked trails and a long distance trail (unmarked) following the Cour loop. In 2009 the Cour loop has been affected by Harvesting. the other 3 trails are : The world champs route graded red and 8.5 km long.
10 Under the Ben loop: graded red and 10 miles long The Broomstick Blue: graded blue and apprx 6km long. There is a map which can be purchased for £1 from bike shops and Nevis Range. You can start either at the Northface Carpark or at Artouste Carpark. In the forest there are also many other trails, some marked with Forestry 'Witches Trail' marker posts, while others are more hidden but worth looking for. Take care though, many are steep, slippery and technical.
